  • "Cleo, Camping, Emmanuelle & Dick" (play) Bolton Octagon - new comedy on the making of the “Carry On” films, Pinewood in the 60s.

  • Art Fest and French Bistro Meal: Liverpool Biennial  and John Moores 24 Contemporary Art shows; £10 3-course lunch at Bistro Pierre

  • "Volver" (film) award-winning Spanish film starring Penelope Cruz, Cornerhouse Manchester

  • “The Manfreds - R&B Max” (concert) Preston Guildhall - 60s/70s R&B music. With Paul Jones, Mike D’Abo, Mike Hugg, Tom McGuinness, Marcus Cliff, Simon Curry and Rob Townsend. Plus special Guests Chris Farlowe and Maggie Bell.

  • “Romantic Classics” (concert) Preston Guildhall - Royal Liverpool Philharmonic play: Weber Overture to "Euryanthe" , Mendelssohn Piano Concerto No.2 , Brahms Symphony No.2 in D major. Conductor Vasily Petrenko, soloist Jonathan Bliss.

  • "Pan's Labyrinth" film at Cornerhouse, Manchester

  • “The Man with Two Gaffers” (play) Blackpool Grand - Update of classic Italian comedy removed from Venice to the Leeds-Liverpool Canal.  Mistaken identity, love, longing and deception delivered with gusto by the Northern Broadsides company.

  • “Flint Street Nativity” (play) Liverpool Playhouse - Comedy by Tim Firth (Calendar Girls, All Quiet on the Preston Front) for anyone who forgot their one line as 3rd Shepherd or who has ever been an anxious parent (or teacher) at a nativity play.

  • “The Sorcerer” (comic opera) Preston Playhouse - Gilbert & Sullivan’s first successful full-length operetta.  Comic confusion when a magic love philtre is used with the best of intentions; all the wrong people fall for each other.

  • “The Wedding Dance” (play) Bolton Octagon - Passionate dance drama set in Havana.  “West Side Story” meets “Dangerous Liaisons” in a story of love and betrayal.
